Wool & Silk Scarf Workshop

At Threads, this is one of our favourite workshops. The Wool & Silk Scarf has a 'barely there' lightness that you wouldn't have thoguht possible. A felting technique created and perfected by Phillipa Rooke, takes a non-traditional method of felting to create a scarf that has lustre and warmth without weight. You will simply love the finished product.

   About Phillipa:    

For the past 25 years Phillipa has enjoyed the wonderful art of feltmaking. During that time, she has been involved with felt on a local, national and international level in many capacities including teaching, exhibiting, organising groups, exhibitions and a major felt gathering. In her Threads & More Workshops, Phillipa delights in watching new felters experience the wonder of making a felt piece for the first time as they realise the possibilities of this very ancient art in its contemporary applications
