Nuno Scarf Workshop

Felting flipped on its head! Using silk chiffon as your base, and wool as the embellishment, create a wonderfully soft and light scarf in this one day workshop. The talented Phillipa Rooke you will teach you the techniques of nuno, including using silk to highlight and create visual texture. The nuno scarf is a beautiful piece that can be used throughout the warmer months.

About Phillipa:    

For the past 25 years Phillipa has enjoyed the wonderful art of feltmaking. During that time, she has been involved with felt on a local, national and international level in many capacities including teaching, exhibiting, organising groups, exhibitions and a major felt gathering. In her Threads & More Workshops, Phillipa delights in watching new felters experience the wonder of making a felt piece for the first time as they realise the possibilities of this very ancient art in its contemporary applications
