Feeling Felty -   Want to know what its all about?.   Learn the traditional method of feltmaking to create a contemporary textile piece. Threads would like to welcome Raewyn Penrose back to Brisbane to conduct her workshops. Due to popular demand we are offering additional classes in some of the one day workshops.   More details are on our calendar.

About Raewyn:  New Zealand fibre artist, Raewyn Penrose, is an internationally recognised designer and creator of unique merino based fashion garments and accessories. Raewyn has tutored extensively throughout Australasia and Germany and is the recipient of many awards for her garments.

To welcome the cooler weather of Autumn, we are kicking off our new Autumn Knit a Long next weekend, casting on the gorgeous Blue Sky Alpaca Rectangle Wrap in Alpaca Silk. Our Sunday KAL group has been so much fun, some of us will be knitting our Cardigan for a while longer to complete it, but its all about the journey - which has been great. If you thought a Cardigan in five weeks may have been ambitious, maybe a beautiful shawl with a simple eyelet repeat in yarn that makes you want to knit 24/7 sounds like you. More details are here.
